You are right, when the AI is in control of the team setting his strategy to SP has no affect the AI will still put the player in the pen, not sure why running the team makes a difference if i let the AI set up the team but somehow it does.

Our online league is still having trouble with scout discovered players requesting (and requiring) Major League contracts, even after that patch that claimed to "fix" this problem.

Also, is there a way to set the amount of time that those players remain hidden from other teams? I think it's 14 days now, but in a 7-day sim online league, we might like the option of making this longer.

I second this request. It takes away from the experience of running a franchise if you can't sort your batting register for career leaders inclusive of all players to have been fielded for your franchise.
