Can't Purchase the Game

When I tried to purchase OOTP 25, I was told that neither my Paypal account nor a credit card could be used for the purchase. No problems with any of the accounts in terms of the validity of the cards. Anyone else having this problem. If not resolved, looks like I will be playing other games. By the way, not getting any response from the game's tech support folks. This used to be a very good company in terms of their support.

You're more likely to get responses in the General Discussions forum of the OOTP 25 section below. You should ask a mod to move this thread to that forum.

I would like to hear from someone at the OOTP company as opposed to a forum contributor. I've received a few answers about the difficulty in purchasing OOTP 25 but I think it is the responsibility of the company to address this issue. How do I get them to answer me?

I would recommend being more specific about your issue.

You were told? By what/who? Did you get some kind of error message? Is there any other information that might be pertinent such as your location? Where specifically are you trying to purchase the game?

That would be another method to purchasing the game

We don't handle the payments, and there's little no information we would have about this, unfortunately.

Your best bet would be to get in touch with FastSpring support as they are the ones that process payments and would actually be able to tell what's going on.

Works just fine on Steam. No need for the Apple Store.

Here's the thing. You are literally the only one complaining about this...so it is likely that there were not many sales through that avenue and a business has to make a decision at some point whether it makes sense for them.

I get advocating for your preferences, but you are essentially spamming now. This thread isn't related to the Apple store.

I'm really not sure why they told you that, as unfortunately, this is something that we cannot do, it has to be done by Fastspring.

At least since they gave the reason for the issues though, we should be able to directly reach out to our Fastspring rep and have them fix this.

Can you let us know the email address you're trying to purchase with (you can just send a PM)? Then we'll pass that on and make sure they put you on the whitelist.

I've tried many times and have contacted Fast Springs but have had no luck with their customer service. I just would like to know why. Am I blacklisted or what? I've bought many seasons from them so can't understand what is going on.

Fastspring is pretty goofy. A month or so back I tried to install the Integreated Mod and screwed my Steam install so bad it wouldn't work anymore. Couldn't be without OOTP and 25 was on sale for $9.99. Went ahead and purchased the game from Fastspring. My first attempt at purchasing the Fastspring game failed, as I was told my card was declined. My second attempt using a different card went through. The next day I just happened to be checking the card that was declined and learned it had been locked, due to my attempt to purchase OOTP. I had to call in order to get card unlocked. Oh and after I made purchase, played the Fastspring version for rest of the day, my Steam version all of a sudden started working like none of this even happened the following morning. So, I have 25 installed twice on my computer.
