hoosierdaddy3277 Bat Boy Join Date: Mar 2024 Posts: 5	Rule 5 Protection Deadline On November 19th, MLB required teams to freeze their 40 man rosters for the upcoming Rule 5 Draft. In OOTP, we don't have to do that until the day of the draft. I realize the technical problem with players who have yet to file for free agency or have been non-tendered, but could we still have a deadline after free agents have filed? It would be more realistic.
