Historical Mode: Able to acquire a draft pick when shopping offered thru shoppi

I didn't notice it until the trade was made as I was focusing on the players involved, but I was able to acquire a draft pick from the previous draft. Obviously I can't do anything with it, but it shouldn't have been offered to me. Name: Screenshot 2024-11-09 224552.png

Just to make sure that's not a labeling issue: Carolina's 2006 7th-rounder isn't listed in your picks (on the Team Data screen), right?

Draft picks from all 7 rounds of the 2005 Draft + the one I acquired from Carolina are listed under team data. All teams in the league also have at least all possible (Rounds 1-7) draft picks from the 2005 Draft. So it's not a labelling issue. Could this have anything to do with me starting on July 1? Since there is no draft (already completed with IRL results) and the picks become unused?

Yes, the folder is called "LundHis.lg". I cannot remove the graphics folder however, it freezes up on me when I go to delete/remove it.

I saw this issue in historical games in FHM10.
e.g. I'd own Detroit's 1st round pick in 1950. I'd shop another player
and Detroit would apparently offer me that same 1950 1st round pick.

If I accepted it, I then had duplicate 1950 picks, however when I reached the
following season July 1st, the game would correct itself and update the
second pick to 1951. i.e. I think it is just a display issue with the dates,
rather than the draft pick functionality.

Not yet, but it was the second-highest priority on the unfixed bug list when we had to cut it off for the update, so we should have it fixed soon.
