Bobfather All Star Starter Join Date: Jun 2016 Location: Boston Ma. Posts: 1,890	Midsummer GM meetings experiment I schedule the All-Star game every year and then cancel it after the rosters are announced. This way all the teams have 4 days off, and the players still get their All-Star award. But this year I am trying something different. I have set the trade deadline in place of the game and the draft the day after. I am also considering moving the international amateur signing period to the break next season. But not sure of any unintended consequences. I think having days off around the trade deadline will help GMs and me concentrate on making trades, and give time to settle the roster. Same for the draft. Any thoughts? __________________ I play out every game—one pitch mode.
