Philadelphia Thunder Acquire Veteran Fred Pfeffer in Trade with Boston Bears

Pittsburgh Predators Appoint Norm Brooks Manager



The Pittsburgh Predators have gone for experience in their new manager in the shape of Norm Brooks. Brooks has had a mixed coaching career in the Professional Baseball Association and fans are not sure what to make of the appointment.

Brooks has a 323-343 record as a manager from 2 stints with the Washington Americans and the Chicago Cardinals. He has also spent time in a number of other roles with other teams within the PBA.

Brooks told reporters ‘It is good to be back in the managers chair. I didn’t expect this opportunity but I will try to work as hard as possible to make the best of it.’

It remains to be seen if Brooks can turn the fortunes of the Predators round.
