OOTP tips and tricks

Hey everyone! I decided to put together a little gameplay tips and tricks video series for people as I know I see a lot of the same questions posted on the forums and reddit and such. Alex put together a nice tutorial series for beginners a year or two ago. I figured I would make a short video series on some game play suggestions for some medium-long term players that isn't really aimed at the beginners as much but more the long term players.

Will just post in here in case anyone wants to have a watch. Cheers

If anyone has any advice or suggestions for future videos let me know. I'm trying to keep them all 5-10 minutes each.

Thanks! Yeah I'll get a few more out this week. Always fun doing OOTP content.

These are excellent. There are a lot out there, but it's nice when someone pops in and focuses on some really helpful but more neglected topics. Great stuff, I'll be trying some things and I'm one of those thousands of hour types you refer to, haha. I of course do have some filters and wouldn't dream of using default stats, but you have some next level suggestions, just focusing on one of your videos.

There's a burgeoning attempt to get a wiki going in another topic and these are the exact sort of videos that should be included as resources.

@Harveytime - related to my first comment, is there any chance you'd be willing to export your views/filters? You have some really useful ideas and I of course will tinker based on them, but there's several compelling ones that you only see the name for. Thanks in advance if that's a possibility!

What is the process to an independent league to an already running game? I want to add a league that will have take a lot of the free agents that exist and give them playing time and hopefully provide a path for them to get back to the majors.

I don't want any new players created and I want them to be able to sign guys for a salary that isn't MLB worthy but maybe $200-$300k and then if the MLB wants the guy the team gets a buy-out amount so then they can take that money and sign new guys.
