Can this be done to start up an inaugural fictional league?

I have this wacky idea of starting a fictional league but doing so with an inaugural draft and no free agent pool. Just as if I was starting up a new league and the only players available we're going to be young college/ international Players and then in the second year having another draft and then having free agency begin. I guess the key thing for this would be figuring out a way of doing it where in the second year I don't all the sudden have a huge pool of older players and having it be just like a first year fictional draft would normally be. Even as I'm sitting here writing this I'm thinking about how difficult this would be to pull off and it's only making me want to find a way to make it happen more! Would there be a way to ensure that the oldest players in the league were those from that first inaugural draft and each year adding younger players so that in year 10, 12, 15, the oldest players in the league are still those who were in the inaugural draft.
Like I said....wacky idea.

Not so wacky and not so difficult I don't think, although it might take some testing to get right.

In the PLAYERS tab of league settings, you can stipulate low and high player creation age limits. So if you just set this each year before the Draft reveal to how you want your player demographic to be, that might well do it for you.

This is easy, make the league, go to league settings under functions and clear all rosters. EVERYONE will be moved to FA pool. Then go to transactions, free agents, click on actions and hit delete all free agents.

Ok first part is done. New part is making your new draft pool. Under actions on the FA page, selected "Create fictional player(s)" Here you can keep roll random, player type make them amateur, and make some international amateur cause you will wanna make many players to be able to fill all your teams.

Then make players age Teenager and Very Young and this should give you a draft pol of 16-21 years olds, maybe a few 22.

Player quality leave at random so you get good players, super star players and average and so on.

Development stage make random ones, some fully, some above average, and some half way. Skip raw cause you might not see any change in them for a very very long time, if at all cause there seems to be a bug with player development especially young guys that are raw.

Make them not eligible for the draft as they are going to become your inaugural draft pool anyway.

Destination league MLB.

Number of players, Make like 50 at a time and then change settings around so you get a nice randomness to the players created.

When your first amateur draft comes around you wont need to change anythingIf you want to make sure that players are created at a base age, then flop over to the players section under league settings and very tope boxes it says min and max ages, they 16 and 22 in there or whatever you want.

Once all your players are made, then go under league settings one last time and click on "Schedule fantasy draft" and it will pull everyone into the amateur draft.

Easy Peasy. Just a lot of work and a lot of steps and make sure once you are done to make yourself a template so if you want to work on this all over again, you already have your base.

If you have any questions, ask.
