Alternate Uniform Question

When you have jersey and cap files in the alternate subfolders of their respective game files, I was under the assumption that the game would work to draw from that and use them in-game if the correct naming format was followed. Unfortunately, I've never been able to make this work, and I oftentimes forget that I have alternate uniforms I could be using. Has anyone found a way to make this work?

If you have it in the proper subfolder i.e. ballcaps, jersey etc. When you are setting up the uniform and press SELECT the file should show up on the list. If this is not working I can only think the file type is not correct or under SELECT you are in the wrong folder.
