Not Seen One Like This Before...

This is how the MLB 1972 season ended up in my hybrid fictional / historical MSL save across in the Dynasties board and thought I'd share it here. Not seen a finish this tight that I can recall - all four races still alive on the final day. The Red Sox manage to not just miss out but do so by being on the short end of a no-no that is called for rain after just five innings. Just madness.

That's wild.

About the 5 inning game, that's what you get with rainouts enabled? The reason I stopped enabling rainouts is because when a game is called before it's official they always make it up later. At least that's my experience.

I'd like to use rainouts but won't unless some games actually don't get played.

Then a dude threw a full 9-inning no-no for Cleveland in the ALCS. Madness. That league is easily the most fun I've ever had with this game.

Yeah, they'll always makeup the rainouts but I don't have an issue with that. It's only in v24 that I've seen 5-inning games; prior to that, 7 was the shortest. But I also might simply not have noticed it.

If they're still making up every game I'm still not interested. This making up every game I think is one of the reasons we have what seems to be an excessive number of ties at the end of the season.

Leaguewide pennant races like that are absolutely lovely.
