Historic league weirdness

Check this out. Started a historic league in 1946. Was looking at MLB history and found this guy. It seems like his batting stats are broken out not only by year but due to the fact he played multiple positions? It also has his DOB from 2002 even though he played in the 19th century.

Here's another one, again from my 1946 historic league. Looking at retired players and here's Babe Ruth. First his city of birth is listed (but wrong) and then it says his retirement year is 2023.

BTW, Josh Miller was a stud in 1895. Somehow he played 484 games, had 2008 at bats and collected 583 hits. That's a record that's never going to be broken!

I also configured full minors for 1946 and so far I'm not seeing this as an issue for other leagues. Those leaderboards for say, Texas League or the PCL seem to match what you'd expect, except there's nothing under the team index, which I'm not sure if that's an error or not.

What is the Historical ID (or Historical Minors ID) for Josh? Those are likely not his stats. No one named Josh Miller played in 1884.

Looking closely, Josh is also on the reserve squad of the Niagara Falls Frontiers in the Middle Atlantic League.

Does the Niagra Falls one have the same Historical Minors ID?

He is just having unassigned stat lines fall to him. Likely result of the database merger clean-up that's on-going.

The last weird thing (I got to looking at the Niagara reserve players) was that six of the eight are all 23 years old. I looked at each of them and they all have the same birthday, 5/5/23. At least one of them appears to have been a real player (John Prozar, who did play for Niagara that year) but they can't really all have the same birthday, right? It'd be sort of creepy if that was real.

Even their handedness is unknown and some have "?" beside their name indicating that is it likely them but data is scarce.
