How to request a refund of pre-order?
PT+ is just a kick in the gut for me. Was so looking forward to all the other PT updates this season.

I'm asking for a refund as well. Created a ticket off the main site, we'll see how that goes.

I do not pay and will not pay in perfect game myself but some will pay and i say good for them. bottomline is its your choice

Absolutely.
Not different from the past where you could buy PP's ... or not buy them. PT+ simply offers some bonuses for those who want to spend money on it, but the basic game ist not different from the past where you can play PT without spending real money

You can also play PT without spending any money at all.

It's a matter of scale. You needed to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to make a difference over the free player. I assume very few people did that. But now for just $7 you get benefits equal to ~150K PP each month depending on how hard you grind. I'm sure lots of people will sign up; good luck to those who don't. |

The whole point of every card-based team-building game in every product is for the developer to make money from players willing to pay for premium cards, virtual currency to buy card packs and booster packs, etc. I'm not aware of any sports game where this is not the case. If pay-to-win is objectionable to you, then I'm not sure why you ever played Perfect Team in the first place. I certainly never have, and I never will. If other people enjoy it, that's great. But anything like this is always going to end up being a game within the game where those willing to pay a premium will have an advantage. I'm not sure what the surprise or disappointment is about.

I’m in the category that I wish there was a separation of people that pay vs people that don’t. But oh well. When I create my team I always put F2P in my team name so people know I don’t pay.
With that said OOTP has always been great about refunds. Word of mouth is huge for their marketing so they hate bad customer service. I’m sure they will resolve the refund issue in a positive way. |

Everybody has a different threshold of how many microtransactions are too many.
Do we have to spend money to play perfect team? No. But let's also not pretend that the selling prices for the best cards in the game are not influenced by whales, or that they won't be influenced by extra rewards you earn with the PT+ subscription. I just feel like this will make it harder than ever for the free to play players to earn enough PP to afford cards that will be pushed ever higher in value due to excess of PP being earned and purchased. That has always been the case but the bonus rewards added to the PT+ subscription will just push those prices even higher. |

I was always F2P & still enjoyed PT a lot. it's an added challenge fighting the whales.

Sure. But then everybody wouldn't know you were looking for a refund!

In any P2W game, one of the chief unadvertised selling points is the ability to beat players who choose not to spend money. If they segregated those non-payers away from the payers, there would be a drop in revenue and that would defeat the entire purpose of the P2W model. |
