Who Should Be In the OOTP Graphics Hall of Fame?

We don't have an OOTP Graphics Hall of Fame.
Please post the names of the graphic designers that you think should be in our mythical OOTP Graphics Hall of Fame.

Here are my nominees in no certain order:

Actually I think justafan may be the greatest...he designed his wonderful software that enabled many of us to do our own graphics... justafan motivated us to improve the logos, jerseys and caps in our league... prior to him, we only had the mediocre and generic graphics that came with OOTP.

eriqjaffe also created excellent software... I never used his as it was hard enough for me to learn justafan's software... but eriqjaffe contributed greatly to the OOTP Community, too.
justafan's and eriqjaffe's software greatly enhanced our immersion in the game.
Tiger Fan is one of the greatest, too... for his Historical Photo Packs and Historical Jerseys.
slivam14 and cephasjames deserve to be in a special category for their enormous volume of work for the OOTP Community.
I would also put txranger and knuckler in this group... a thread with over 2 million viewers is really something.

It was the graphics designers that greatly enhanced the OOTP graphics and greatly enhanced our enjoyment of the game.

Thanks, guys... agree with your additions... I only put the ones I am thoroughly familiar with... but your choices are names I have seen often on the OOTP Mods Forum.

I never play college leagues, but Robo's work is outstanding.

I love reds1 dynasty thread about Braeland... the graphics are superb... and his writing about Braeland's history are really good... if you want to read a good story... go to his dynasty and read it from the beginning... his dialogue between the King and Babe Ruth is superb... his story line with the Babe is unique and very well done.

This is no slight to the developers because I love this game, but I don't know that I'd still be playing ootp without the contributions of these listed and so many more over the years

Having looked at the graphics of the above creators for hours trying to learn and figure out how they were doing what they are doing I would say all of the above mentioned are worth acknowledgement.

Using the Justafan software and appreciating all of those peoples graphics actually put me on a path to go back to school for graphic design. While I may never know any of these people personally, they've all certainly inspired me.

For me, TxRanger and Knuckler have been the most inspiring (not to take away from anyone else). I think you can see their influence in every logo I create. I've spent more hours than I can count just looking over Ranger's drive looking for inspiration. I've never talked to these guys, but they seem like great people to everyone on the forums.

If I ever start a new league... it will based on hurricanekevin's great logos... all I have to do is get the Hall of Famers to do my jerseys and caps.

hurricanekevin specializes in logos only.

I think what makes the above guys so great is that they are making them specifically for the game and really serving the community. They are digging deep into the baseball world and pulling out logos that help everyone complete their game and of course doing all the components like uniforms and secondary logos.

I just happen to be doing logos and figured I would share

Yes, certainly... the 3D animators have greatly increased my immersion in the game... it is a dream come true... I never thought I would live long enough for OOTP be be animated.

Absolutely, the OOTP 3D guys should be honored, too... I would love to know who they are... they don't get much publicity.

Graphics to me would be the basics... logos, jerseys and caps... the guys that have done this for 5-10 years and have been prolific and productive are the ones I placed on my HOF list.
There are many, many fine graphics guys that don't post much here on the OOTP Mods Forum that would definitely be Hall of Famers... I know their names and have seen some great work by them, but not enough to put them on my HOF List... my Hall of Famers are the ones that have being doing personal requests for all of us here on the Forum for 5-10 years... or more in a few cases.

Don't forget the people who've made baseball cards over the years. I know many don't like baseball cards but nonetheless these modders have done terrific work. A lot of graphics is involved and testing to make sure it works right.

Very hopeful to one day be among the greats listed here, but I'd have to say that the ones mentioned are deserving of some HOF recognition on this forum. I've been blessed to be able to see some absolutely phenomenal work from all of the guys taht are listed in here. Seeing the incredible work that txranger has done is actually what motivated me to start doing graphic work for people on here as well.

I think you are missing one obvious name, yourself! I still have your original compilation of team logo from decades ago. Aside from that I agree with your list!

Deft, I appreciate you saying that... but I am not even close to being average in graphics... borderline average at best.

You must be thinking of somebody else.

Come to think of it... you yourself really do excellent graphics work and deserve to be on the HOF list... I remember seeing your name and some really fine graphics years ago... I think I am still using the New York Yankees graphics set that you did... the logo, jerseys and caps... they are really well done... and have a classic look that not all graphics have... plus over the last decade or so you have done so much for the OOTP Community and the OOTP game itself.

I think longevity and consistency over the last decade... and doing excellent quality work... is my criteria for the OOTP Mods Hall of Fame.

My HOF list is basically the guys that have done logos, jerseys and caps here on this forum for the last decade or so and did it for a good length of time... there are many others who deserve to be on the HOF list that I might not be aware of.
