Promoting from the international Complex
I'm interested in some feedback from some players. When you promote guys from the international complex what criteria do you use? Is it just age? Do you look for ratings over a certain value for contact or something? Do you just let the AI handle it? I'd love to hear how different players handle this.

You’ll probably get as many different approaches as posters on this. For me, I sometimes defer to the AI, or recommendations. But there are other “know it when I see it” players, usually a combination of eye-popping stats and age/maturity. But still I look at the ratings (which will be low), hitters who strike out too much or walk not at all, pitchers who throw too many pitches (wildness), position eligibility and fielding ratings. To me it’s the same fundamental question at any level of the minors: what is it - if anything - that this dude still needs to learn at this level? (The only real exception to this approach is AAA, where inevitably you are going to stash veterans in case of a need at the MLB level.). There are going to be 6 foot, 200 pound teenagers who have nothing to learn at the international complex. Time to move on. But, you need to be sure, since you don’t ever want to be in the position of returning a player to the complex, surely a soul-crushing humiliation for a young guy.

I don't see any stats for players in the international complex. I wonder if I should just move them out of there immediately to the DSL.
