I play Fictional League now. Is there any news about transferring saved GO game to GO23?

Previously said no and I doubt there a workaround for that.

There are many of us that are very excited to get the new game, and it feels like the excitement is turning to frustration the longer we wait without real updates.

The issue of restoring historical seasons has been fixed. That's what had most people riled up.

It would be nice to transfer saves from GO to GO 23, but I don't see this as something essential.
If it's not possible now, maybe it could be added in later as an update. Or just a clear answer "Sorry, we tried but it's not possible" would also be fine.

We've heard from one beta tester that things look good, and that's basically the only real update for weeks. So it's hard to understand why there is no firm timeline for at least the soft launch.

I am not sure if this was already covered or not and some of these are part of commissioner mode, but a couple of things that were not in OOTP Go that I'd like to see in the new game are the ability to change owner information and traits for all teams such as their name, patience, spending, involvement, and priority, also fan interest, loyalty, market size, budget size, media contracts, and colors and logos for all teams as well. Basically in a nutshell, I'm looking for more ways to be able to customize my leagues to get them set up exactly how I want them and though a commissioner mode would be great to have, I wouldn't need need all aspects of it if it's too much to put in the game. Either way the game is very enjoyable and fun but as somebody who likes to do fantasy franchise leagues, I'd like to see these implemented so when I start a game, I can make sure a team playing in New York is appropriately a big money and market team rather than a team from Buffalo or a small market city like that. Thank you for all the hard work you guys put in the game and I can't wait for the new game to release!

Edit: almost forgot but the ability to put a balanced or unbalanced schedule and turn interleague play on or off would also help make the fantasy leagues better.

It is for me--I've got a lot of time invested in three seasons of my fictional league, and I'm not ready to throw that away. Meanwhile, the "save" bug (where saving the game doesn't work at random times, and it reverts to a previous state) remains and will never be fixed since there is apparently no intention to get rid of bugs in the current version, but rather to just release a new version.

Carrying over the saves would be great, but I don't know if that's technically feasible (at least in any automated way through the game itself).

I'm hoping the save game issue is already resolved in GO 23.

Yes, I'm hoping the soft launch will drop this weekend. Nothing to base that on though ...

We got the notice of soft launch the day before last time.

If its in Canada again woukd be a nice idea to have it by Monday since certain sectors will have the day off

I think its short notice do to Apple. I cant speak for the Play Store but Apple is notoriously slow in their approval process for apps. Even if Google is quick I would assume they would hold for a simultaneous release.

After my file corrupted for the 4th time, I didn't bother restarting again. But because I'm a sucker, I didn't complain, and was planning on just buying the new version. That was 6 weeks ago. Instead I've just stopped playing the game, and I can't imagine anyone is going to buy a game that comes out 3/4 of the way into a season.
