I’ve noticed a significant drop off in users doing the GO PT draft tournaments, but personally I am really enjoying this, as I’ve been able to enter 5-6 tournaments per day, instead of 0-2

Great to see I can add another company to the list of people I’m not buying games from. Says it’ll be an all-in-one app then backtracks to yearly releases because there’s money to be made. The ootp base game has been out a month and no time frame, window, or updates, as well as features breakdown on the new game but they expect us to buy into this stuff. Excellent work!

It would be good to know what the general release timing is since this is an annual purchase. It would be good to know going in if the intent is to have desktop available at season start but mobile not available until all star break, etc. so that people can make a purchase decision knowing this info. Not having mobile until the season is almost a third over makes me regret my desktop purchase. If this will be timing in future years it would be good to know so I can make a decision on the game overall. |

But EA didn't start out focusing solely on UT either. It was a slow progression. It feels like the focus on Perfect Team development is causing a delay to the "core" product, OOTP and OOTP Go (or whatever name they want to call it this year). I'll still buy it every year like I have for nearly 20 years but it's a fear of mine. They aren't independent developers anymore, they answer to COMS and they are going to want a larger return on investment. It's just the nature of business. |

Any chance there could be two separate games for mobile? One game that has Perfect Team for those who want it? And those who just want franchise mode?
Might be easier to get PT up and running on mobile, but honestly I don't know anything about creating mobile games. |

Now that PT21 is over, anxious to play PT23 when the new app is out! Don’t want to be tied to limited PC time. OOTPGO was great! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I mostly want OOTPGO for PT23 on my phone - way easier to enter tournaments at work or buy/sell cards than the limited time on my PC at home. That's why I'm wondering if PT23 could be a separate app that could be ready sooner rather than packing franchise mode with it, which also needs updates to match the PC version.

I’m sure a lot of people have aksed this and this is in no means to rush you or make you do it. All of us are just curious. Will there ever be a commish mode in OOTP Go?

To be fair, it is understandable the fear that PT is overtaking OOTP but the reality is we all want to make a living and be as prosperous as possible. PT has enabled OOTP to expand more rapidly and make themselves more attractive to a buyer than OOTP itself already was. COM2US apparently made an offer too nice to decline. We are not going to know all the strings attached to the sale but Markus seems to imply that OOTP still has a lot of autonomy. And that the sale means OOTP can grow more rapidly than otherwise and no doubt the money received from the sale makes the effort (past and future) more pleasurable. I am sure the earlier years were more meager and they finally got renumerated properly for that with the sale.
I think Markus dream is to continue OOTP as the elite baseball sim while matching the excellent stat results with the visual aesthetics that make it all immersive and ultimately mind blowing as if you were at the ballpark yourself. The 3d with Silvam14's ballparks are quite awesome now but I think the goal is to progress this as far as resources allow them to. Again, it is hard to fault Markus for taking the money, who wouldn't really. It is what it is at this point. I think it might be better to err on the side of being positive and trust the creator of this game that we all have enjoyed for years to rekindle (if needed) his motivation to expand the dream into reality. I think we can help that along by being positive. That is not to say there is not a place to complain when it is earned but I would encourage everyone to balance their complaints without being ballistic which I think most do but unfortunately not for some. ![]() Edit to Revise Last Sentence: That is not to say there is not a place to complain when it is earned but I would encourage everyone to balance their complaints without being fatalistic and/or too cynical. That revision more accurately reflects what I meant. I realized that after I posted but only now had a chance to revise it. I didn’t delete the original so that no one thinks they’re going crazy, LOL. Another thing I am sure Markus appreciates the passion people have in their complaints realizing that most likely it is rooted in their love for the game OOTP. Furthermore, what I mean by fatalistic above the in the revision is to reference those who publicly renounce OOTP and request a refund. Last edited by Socali; 06-01-2022 at 02:40 PM. |

In terms of Go, since we just started releasing it as a yearly game, there isn't anything as set, but we want to be able to get it out soon after the desktop launch in the future. |

Can I ask, what specifics of the commish mode would people like to have the most in Go? Last edited by Will Beh; 06-01-2022 at 07:04 PM. |

Cloud Saves
Is there any possibility of some kind of cloud save feature? I know that compatibility between PC and mobile isn’t possible, but what about iPad and iPhone. It would be great to be able my same franchise on both of my devices.
