Now that we know it will be a little later we can continue our '22 leagues and plan accordingly.

I thought the same thing, that any infrastructure enhancements are probably geared more toward Perfect Team and monetization than improving the core game. I hope I'm wrong though. I still hope I wake up one day and Perfect Team was all just a bad dream.

With the delay is it possible to extend the Brooks loyalty mission for PT? There's plenty of newer players struggling to finish it with the lack of cards available on the market

That, or they don't expect to have the league rules finalized on time because of real-life delays in nailing down those same rules.

Well yeah you're probably right but.... What infrastructure is needed to run OOTP proper? It's not an online game pre se. If it's PT infrastructure being updated it will also delay OOTP as they come in the same package. Nothing more, nothing less. IOW it has no affect on the OOTP side of the project other than the release time.

If you do wake up and find, to your great relief, that PT was just a dream well..
make sure you enjoy playing out your games in the old stadiums along with any other enhancements made possible with the influx of PT cash

PT is really the greatest evil ever bestowed upon the world!!!

I was lucky enough to get a ps5. This past week they had a beta of The Show one could d'load and play for a few days. The stadiums are gorgeous but, you know what? They don't blow away the new stadiums included in OOTP. That is quite an accomplishment for OOTP Dev. and they should be very proud. My best guess is without PT I'm not making this statement.
