I got his gold card in a pack the other day and it said his L10 was 111K. I assumed it was a couple of whales with a prearranged deal, but today his price is 108K. So, apparently, I have a very valuable card.

The question is, why is it valuable? Is he the "must have" guy for a Gold tournament team or something? He's not in any missions.

He is an excellent Gold tourney catcher, who would displace either of my two if I had him. Not being in a mission can also hike the price substantially, as people assume they probably will be at some point, and the card will be hard to obtain when the relevant mission does drop.

Definitely for Gold Tournaments. The card is better than some Perfect and most Diamond Catchers.

If you don't play Gold tournaments, sell high now!

Came out in this week's content drop. That helps too, because shiny. I pulled one and immediately cashed in since I don't do golds. If I pull one again though, I'll be keeping. He can play for sure.

Listed him in the AH at 100000-111111 and he was gone in a couple of hours. That 100K will help me do a lot of other stuff.

Used the PP's to pay most of the cost of getting Berra by doing the postseason mission. I'll sell Mauer, who he replaces, and so the net cost for Berra to me will be about 25K. Not a bad card to get for the price.
