Some players they are the same, some they are different. Which one should I believe?

Consensus is what the rest of the league/the Scouting System (this the CSS in real life) thinks of the player.

Team Scouting is what your Scouts are telling you. If you have good Scouts, believe your scouts. They've done more in-depth looks at the player.

You don't have to control any National Teams if you don't want to. Everything will play out as normal.

In OOTP Baseball you have the option to pick logos and uniforms to upload to specific teams.. will it be possible in the future to do the same for FHM8 and higher? as it stands now.. when I create expansion teams and have historical logo's in my save game file and general quickstart game files, the game loads the white jerseys .. I'd like to be able to pick away aka away jerseys.. and helmets and variations on team logos when I want.. thanks for your attention to all the little details in the game..

I have custom jerseys in for my expansion team. You need to make sure you are following the correct naming conventions and putting the files in correct folder. You need to have three jerseys for each team to get all graphics properly — jersey_team_name (for the menus), jersey_team_name_home (for in game home jersey, I usually make this the same image as the first one), and jersey_team_name_away for the away sweater.

I was told that under the new system it was more important to get your area scouting score up to 20, even if it meant hiring tons of less than ideal scouts. And that's notr even taking into consideration the new financial effects of scouting. (if they'll even scout a player) It's all becoming very confusing.

That's more for in terms of coverage. If you want to have most players scouted, then yes. But if all your scouts are average/below average, then the reports they generate may not be as good as someone's who is significantly higher.

I apologize if this has been discussed elsewhere, but for the "players not staying their role" process between periods, it would be helpful if all of these were listed rather than having to scroll through them. If you choose to talk to one of the first players, you aren't able to see who else was not following their role that you may have wanted to talk to further down the list. Thanks!

Are there any particular reasons why you wouldn't be allowed to retain salary? I'm at the trade deadline and I can't ask any teams to retain, but I'm allowed to retain salary on my own players

Does increasing your "coaching prospects" ability matter if you're in charge of a CHL team?

Also, I know you guys decreased the preference for goalies in the CHL drafts, but it only delayed the rush of goalie drafting. Below is a screenshot of the most recent 2nd round.

For what it's worth, I won the WHL 3 out of 4 years with 3 different goalies, all drafted 4-6 rounds. That was *before and after* FHM decreased the goalie preference in junior league drafts.

Very much. All the players at that age level are considered prospects.

Yeah, that's not a bad idea. I'll see if we can make some changes there.

In the tactical tendencies page, what is the function of the "use?" checkbox? Does it have to be checked ✔ for the sliders to work? Like if I have "shooting" all the way up to max but the box isn't checked will the player basically still be on balanced?

Hey, I run a spreadsheet league on Discord. Is it at all possible to export player data in an easier to transfer way, so I don't have to type it all out by hand? Especially unsigned prospects by team.

I believe that's for overriding if you hire a HC.

Interesting... I thought 'use' had to be checked to override the global settings, but I guess I could be totally wrong.

No, you need to check the box. It's not for overriding the coach, it enables the override of the higher-level (global for unit settings, global/unit for player settings.)
