Powerplay tactics and positioning

Just a quick question on where your players will position themselves given power play tactic choice?

For example, if I have a 1-3-1 power play how do I know which player will be at the net-front and which will be up top (either D or Point?)

I’m curious about this too, especially how to get the 4 forward PP setup working. Normally whichever forward I put in one of the D positions doesn’t produce nearly as much as the other 4 players.

In 1-3-1 the C is in front of the net, Left Point is at the top, Right Point in the middle of the 3 with wingers at his sides. I'll put the full list for all the formations into a readable form and add it in the manual when I get a chance.

An in-game graphical representation of the positioning of each player for each tactic, similar to ehm, should be implemented instead ? Quickly see at a glance where each player are rather than having to read a text to get the same information.

If we want the net front presence to be a winger, is it possible to put the winger in the centre position without any penalties to his ability? And would the winger be the player taking the face offs or would the AI set the player on the unit with the highest FO rating to take the faceoff?

This does not show correctly when watching the game with the 2D engine. The RD stays back as much as the LD. Not sure if players are out of position or if this is just a limitation of what can be shown with the new engine.

I'd be surprised if this isn't a feature for fhm8

Many times I'll see a player which, for example, will show Consensus: Ability / Potential as 3.0/3.5 while my scouting might show 2.0/2.0

If your scouting is 20.0 in all regions, how much stock do you put in the Consensus numbers compared to your own scouting numbers?

Just wondering. Thanks
