And dont you think you would maybe be inclined to bump a player up that you knew would be a FA if you knew the team couldnt resign him, and wouldnt you try and do that to make it look like you didnt edit the ratings, because "they were good last year as well".

Just a hunch but these guys never should have been rated that high, and when I looked in his player development, it constantly had guys with the high ratings dropping down from where they were a little bit, not much but a little, showing that he bumped the ratings and they were slowly coming down becuse they werent bumped in the talent area.
Hm...What guys would you be referring to? You never knew about my league until the 2nd season began which was like, 2-3 weeks ago. And you can clearly see all my Player Development and really the only "good" person to decrease in talent ratings is Mike Timlin. And he's in AAA and rated like a 1.5 rating with a 3 in runs...

My league is currently in it's second season, 2004. We obviously started 2003. We used the 2002 stats from TotalMinors. I downloaded the file early/mid July, don't know what edition it is but oh well. Eyre and Rhodes I signed as free agents and I offered atleast a 1 million to 2 million more than any one else, which is why they are on my team. Foppert I traded for late in the offseason of 2003/2004 (actually 2004/2005 season). You can see who I traded. And all the spects that I acquired, you can see who I traded and you can also see their player development. I hope you all don't feel I cheated, but whatever your opinion is, well, your opinion.
Well if you guys want you can check out my league file and almanac. They can be found at:

Don't worry, man, no one really suspects you of anything. A quick look over your league site shows no reason to be suspicious. Foppert and Rhodes' talent ratings are exactly where I would have expected them to be, and there's no reason to think Eyre is more than a regular lucky bump.

Contrary to what Mr. Fitterer thinks, we don't immediately brand people cheaters on a whim. Only when the evidence is overwhelming and the accused's only defense is insults and claims that he doesn't want to waste the time it would take to defend himself.

I NEVER ever said I wouldnt defend myself, you guys never gave me the chance to defend myself or hear my side of the story, I tried to tell everyone that i would explain my story but they had no intentions of listening to me about any of it.

They dont believe in innocent until proven guilty or right to defend yourself.

I have been in leagues where Foppert was the #1 prospect or a top 10 atleast in the whole league, so im not buying it for a second. I'm also in a league where Rhodes is just as good as he is there, the guy isn't cheating man give it a rest.

I did say the only guy I have seen in leagues I have been in, that would mean that I was beasically saying modern day players, not fictional characters.

Fitterer, ratings differ. Its basically a judgement. There is no right way to view real life players or else there would be no use for scouts. There is a difference between what you did and what you "think" he did.

Correction, what I was wrongly accused of and not given a chance to refute.

Big difference

On July 12th, you said:

I will not respond to them because the league has already been shut down and there is no point inw asting al of my time in trying to explain everything to everyone because there is no way in hell they will ever believe it so its not even worth a shot.
You have ALWAYS made the choice not to provide good reasons for the MANY oddities which appeared in your league's HTML pages. You made the choice not to explain how players floated to your team from other teams. Would we have believed you, probably not. Why should we? The hard evidence, (long since deleteted, but much still "archived" on this board) was fairly damning. Anyone who knew anything, looked at your HTML output, and declared you a cheat. Your level of maturity displayed was the icing on the cake for most concerned, I'm sure.

Would we have believed you? I sure wouldn't have. But YOU made... and continue to make... the choice of not defending yourself.

Denying something is not the same as defending yourself.

My two cents

I'm in Dan's league and I'll vouch for him. While there have been a few instances where Dan made poor decisions regarding how one ought to manage a league, I do not believe he changed the player ratings. I tried to trade for Eyre before the 1st season's trading deadline because his numbers were great. I also made a competitive bid on him in free agency, but I was out bid by Dan. Like i said, Dan has made a few mistakes in the league, but I really doubt he'd go so far as to alter players ratings. There are much easier ways for a Commish to cheat the people in his league!
