Odor trade with Yankees

Had to turn settings all the way left and still could not get this basic real life trade to go through. I still don't get this trade

I think the Rangers respect and like him and wanted to give him a chance to play. The Rangers had already said he wouldn't make their opening roster. They are still paying him but at least got a few in the middle minor league guys out of it.
