Writers are saying that the Toronto Blue Jays had one of the best offseasons of any team in either league.

Toronto went into the 9th with a four run lead but Rafael Perez gave up three straight home runs to give the Brewers a walk-off, 8-7 win.

David Roberts homered for the Jays.

For the second straight day, the Toronto bullpen let them down in the 9th. Today they lost 8-5 to the Yankees.

Arturo Vasquez and Francisco Mendoza homered for the Jays.

The Toronto bullpen nearly blew things again, but the Jays were able to pull out a 10-9 win over the White Sox.

Francisco Mendoza went 3 for 3 with 4 RBI.

Ed Forsyth left the game with a bruised foot. It does not seem serious.

A good showing by Dave Stieb was wasted by three errors leading to four unearned runs but then Ron Gravel came in and pitched four perfect innings in relief as the Jays grabbed the game back and beat the Mariners 9-5.

Bob Allen homered for Toronto.

Arturo Vazquez is on fire this spring, hitting .727 so far. Today he went 3 for 3 including a home run as the Blue Jays beat the Red Sox, 9-6.

Gary Gaetti and David Roberts also homered for Toronto.

Joseph Prost left the game with a strained oblique and is expected to miss the next 3-4 weeks of Spring Training.

Dave Stieb had been very sharp in his previous two spring starts but today the White Sox roughed him, scoring none times over five innings, on the way to a 12-5 win over the Blue Jays.
