Player origins in custom historical/semi-historical games
Was doing some testing in a custom game (fictional) starting in 1926, and upon creating the league I manually set the percentages for player origin for both starting rosters and draft to a heavy Canadian/light US origin split with rest of world at zero. Upon a quick simulation for a couple years I noticed the rosters were proliferated with players from the rest of the world much more akin to modern day ratios.
I'm used to OOTP and the commish being able to set player origin in the world data menu. Maybe I'm missing the setting somewhere? Can we get this feature rolled into the FHM7 baseline? Its a little odd seeing such an internationally flavored hockey roster in the 1920s for example. |

There will always be a few international players, but it sounds like something may have gone wrong if you saw that many of them. I'll check it, and maybe look at adding an option to exclude them completely.

In lieu of that, adding to the commissioner GUI the same settings window available during league creation might help. |

Not necessarily out of the question for 7, but I'm not sure it'll make it high enough on the priority list to get into an update. But alterations to the place nationality selection occurs in during the player creation process probably won't affect anything else, so changing things there doesn't have a lot of potential complications, which works in favour of us doing it.
