Can't avoid crashes

Started a modern day game and couldn't get through first month of season without a crash, thought maybe the fact I edited someones contract was causing an issue so I started a new game. Got through season no problem, constantly crashing on season two at random spots in first month.
Please help, I really don't want to start from scratch again.

I noticed my shootout choices weren't filled and missing an extra attacker in lineups. After fixing that I have not had an issue

Those shouldn't be causing a crash, but if fixing that cleared up the crashes for you, we'll have to take a look and try to see what's going on there. Might explain some of the handful of unexplained crashes we've had reported.
