Game always freezes and only has happened this week

My OOTP21 game all of a sudden just freezes now. It will not crash and when I go to Force Kill (on a Mac) it does not show that it is not responding. The only way for me to continue is to force kill OOTP21 and lose any saved information. This is a real problem since I am an online league commish. I did not have this issue before the most recent update/patch. Has anyone else had this same issue and/or any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Does it always freeze at the same point? Does it do it for every game, or only the one online league?

No it freezes at random times and it happens during multiple league files.

However, the majority of the freezes does come with one league file though, which is the league file I just converted and is the league I am the commish.

Well, now it just froze in a different league file so it is back to random and in multiple leagues.

If you try rolling back to the previous patch, do you still have the freezing?

I would guess this sort of thing might be more related to system changes than anything from the patch, but always good to narrow things down more before making too many assumptions

One other suggestion, which may or may not be applicable, but have you restarted your system lately? I've found that sometimes things can get laggy after a long time of just sleeping my system but not actually restarting and a restart will clear things up.

I uninstalled OOTP21 and reinstalled the previous patch version of OOTP21 before posting and it still happened after doing that. Also, I shut down my computer a few times hoping that would help but it did not help and still froze after doing both of these things. Last night, I had to force kill OOTP21 three times after it loaded a league.
