How is the live Trout seem to be the best one out there?

The new Trout is clearly inferior to the Live Trout. Do the game developers just not appreciate greatness. He is the MVP of the decade and his Live Card smokes his new one!

It's pretty crazy... He's been in the league for 8 full seasons, won 3 MVPs, finished 2nd 4 times, and finished 4th in a season where he missed like 50 games... He should be up there with the top tier cards.
His BBR 162 game average season is .305 with 39 HR, 27 SB, and 108 walks. How many players can claim that in an 8 year stretch? He's almost caught Ken Griffey Jr. in career WAR and he's 28... So yeah, the new Trout card should be insane :/

i don't think the Trout SE card is as bad as people are saying it is, a bit of an overreaction because it isn't top tier whale bait, but it has a decent defensive and steals bump plus the improved avoid K vsR. I'll use it to find out how it does.

Wonder if they didn't want to make an overpowered reward card and see AH prices go through the roof (cough cough Negro league cough cough). It's a fine line I suppose.

It is wild that a card representing a players full decade is inferior to his live card. That said, the Trout card really underrates the guy. I wish the devs would have been thoughtful about making the cards meaningfully different. Instead theyre all kinda of close and one are really that startable on a truly competitive DL team.

He had higher OPS last year which is what the Live card is based on. How could a card representing a decade be better than one representing his best single season? 2019 OPS 1.083 decade OPS 1.000. The SE does have decent base stealing ability and better fielding though

i don't think the card is bad, I think that there are a ton of players who have cards that are massively overrated which is where the real problem is, it makes cards based on actual stats rather than era adjusted stats look weaker than they are
