Beginning league - this can't be right

So, I'm dipping my toe into Perfect Team. I get it, it might not really be my cup of tea, but I'll give it a whirl.

So I have my team, opened my packs, and have picked up some improvements in the market. All fine, that seems well done.

The "league" I'm playing in makes no baseball sense. Most games are going 20-50 innings until one team gets a fluky single run to win 1-0. My batters all have BAvg of under .050... most of my pitchers (and players) have pitched tons of innings with ERAs hovering right around zero. Something is horribly wrong here.

Is this a mess due to the new changes in Perfect Team? Am I missing a larger discussion about this?

Sorry... I poked around for a report of this massive bug, didn't see it. If I'm just wasting my time playing a broken game, I'll just quit - but I'd rather sort out what's going on and proceed with building a team and playing in tournaments or whatever it is I'm supposed to be doing with it.

In case it matters, I'm in the "Entry League" titled Epsilon Theta

The first week isn't a real league. You build up a few points and next Monday you'll be placed in Iron league which should make much more sense.

If that's really true... I'll suffer through it.

I would say - how on earth can this be the intended experience for new players? It's so far removed from "baseball" it's off-putting.

Well, it's free points so it isn't all bad. I've never had any issue with my teams in entry league. Again, it's just the first week after you start a team.

Part of it is true, in that when you first create your Perfect Team, your team is put into what's called an 'Entry League' because the Perfect Team seasons start on Monday mornings each week. So you have to wait until then to get put into a real league with other human players.

Also, part of is true that when you're in the Entry league, your team does play games that earn Perfect Points.

The part that's confusing/strange is the game scores and behavior you're reporting. That is not supposed to be the case. As Kris mentioned earlier, we will look into that. Definitely not the intended/expected behavior.

Thank you for playing Out of the Park Baseball!

I'd like to see a box score of a 50 inning game.

OK, we have figured this out, it actually was a problem for all Entry Pool leagues. We will update the servers today, this will fix it. Thank you for bringing it to our attention!

Thank you for tending to it, and for relocating my thread into its proper home.

Looking much more legit now, with today's results.
