I don't know if my story will have its first draft completed by the end of November, but we'll have to see. I'm still in the process of working on chapter three. I'm not officially participating in NaNoWriMo, but I still am going to see if I can write at least 50,000 words by the end of November for this story.

I might also change the name of the story, but we'll have to see how the rest of it continues to develop as I continue to write it. Just because it may be called "The Journey" now, that doesn't mean that it will keep that title, of course, seeing as I'm not yet to a second draft, at least, for it. Much, if not all, of the rest of November will likely be spent working on the story, quite possibly. After that, who knows, but our Lord and our God, obviously.

I would like to lock down a lot of details, if possible, related to Slaabovia and/or its native language of Slaabinese, at least, by the beginning of July 2020, for it will have been roughly thirty years, off and on, since I first began work on developing the fictional nation or nations related or associated with it, et cetera, if memory serves, sometime on or around July 4, 1990. Ever since, I have worked on developing it and related details for it and certain other nations, I'm sure, although I've probably lost access to certain related notes and/or files periodically over roughly the last 25-30 years, more or less, for various reasons, including certain moving processes at least a couple of times since then.

At the time I first started developing or thinking of creating a nation like this, I had gone to a camp in northeast Minnesota, or was about to, or was already there. I spent part of June and July of 1990 at that camp, and we had a day of events at that camp, where various cabins participated in various contests against each other, much like the Olympics, if memory serves, on the 4th of July. It was at this time that I made a fictional flag, although I probably no longer have that first card or whatever it was that I sketched it out on, and I believe I started imagining what might be the case for the related country and/or other associated countries.

After I got back from camp, I think I began to try and further develop things for that country, and I have periodically tried to further develop it and/or related details as much as I can, as best as I can, ever since. Of course, along the way, I've probably lost access to certain notes, images, and/or computer files, for various reasons, but that probably was unavoidable at times, I think.

Some new uniforms for the Bruderbel Suns, a prospective future team from Ethardius, who will be part of the Royal Professional Baseball Alliance there, if and whenever it is ultimately created. Their frequent opponents will include, most likely, the Caucarress Blueliners, the Sanboro Seadogs, and the Kassulke Rascals, to name just a few, to be sure. I don't have items made for any other teams yet for the RPBA, but those will come when they come, if and whenever possible, I think. That is all. CD out.

The Suns are OK... not typical baseball colors, but they do coordinate well.
When I think of Suns, I think of the colors of the sun... yellow and orange colors... not greens and blues.

The lettering on the Bruderbel jerseys could show up better if you had better contrast between the lettering colors and the jersey background colors.
The Suns' lettering shows up very well... but it could be because its only four letters and they are made large.... the more letters in a name, the smaller the letters become.

City colors may not always agree with certain teams' colors, you know, and that may be the case here with the Suns in certain ways. Or there may be logical enough reasons why the Suns are using certain colors besides yellow here. An Ethardius City Kings uniform set should perhaps be posted soon. CD out.

Also suns can be multiple colors at times, apparently, elsewhere in the Milky Way Galaxy and/or Universe that our Lord created about 6,000 years ago, you know. In reality, Slaabovia and many other fictional nations don't actually exist, as well. But maybe back where the original inhabitants of what later became known as Slaabovia came from, maybe their stars weren't necessarily yellow or orange, for example, in their original home star system.

Yes, I did say that the original inhabitants of the land that later became known as Slaabovia came from a different home star system, and by extension, one of the inhabitable worlds in said star system. On their original homeworld, they all came from a specific nation or land called Sartagar, from which comes the term Sartagaron.

Circa 2013 BC, several people somehow find themselves being unexpectedly and mysteriously transferred to the landmasses that eventually would belong to the Cirriddiquans/Slaabovians. And up until around the time of Columbus's first voyage of discovery, their homeland was unknown of and all by others in the world, except in very rare cases, on average, over the next roughly 3500 years, more or less. Circa 1490 or so, their homeland ultimately gets discovered, and invaded, occupied, and colonized, et cetera, by any number of foreigners.

After many years of undesired foreign occupation and all, their millions of future descendants eventually are able to regain their homeland's complete independence and all circa AD 1854. Although there are still many foreigners present for many years in their land, after they fully regain their national independence, of course. While they might not be so keen on having so many foreign-born residents in their nation who haven't assimilated themselves into their culture sufficiently well, after the centuries of foreign occupation and all, they aren't totally against foreigners being in their country, as long as they are there legally and all, of course. On the other hand, they don't take too kindly many times to foreigners who don't follow legitimate laws enacted in their country and come to their land illegally with sufficient enough reason, no matter where they come from anywhere in their known world, for sure.

The contrast is fine on the lettering... they will show up well on the game screens.

The colors are flashy, but go together well... surprisingly, I kind of like the purple and green colors.

Your jerseys look much better when you limit the colors to two or three colors that match well... you should always use colors that are from the same family of colors... that is, colors that are close together on the color spectrum.

I like the font.

These are fine, except for the colors... they go together fine, but are just not something I would use for baseball jerseys.
Sea Turtles to be should be green and yellow... if I had a team named Sea Turtles, those are the colors I would use... I always want colors to match the real life animal... Gators would also be Green and Yellow... I have a team in my IPA named the Snappers... they are Blue, Light Green and Yellow.

Suggestion: the lettering on Soukanai is too wide... move it toward the center a little bit... the blue-green color on the lettering overlapped on the blue-green side panels... that hurts the contrast and readability.
Soukanai lettering would have better contrast, if you made the lettering brown with tan trim on the blue-green background like you did on the ST jerseys.

As you know, I have generally been making items for various teams, mostly fictional, for a while now. Most, if not all, of those teams are or will be from fictional places in certain fictional lands. And in those fictional lands, there may be animals, for instance, that are not colored as one might normally expect them to be, of various kinds.

In the case of the sea turtles primarily represented by the above uniforms, they often have the used colors present on their bodies and/or their shells, I'd imagine. Of course, not all sea turtles that inhabit the waters in and/or around YK may be so colored, at least most of the time. But many are, for reasons most from YK are generally unaware of in their lives.

My story seems to be at about 9,700 words or so and counting. I don't know if I'll be able to reach 50,000 words by the end of the month, but we'll have to see if I can later, of course. I'm hoping I can. But still too early to say if I will, obviously.

Will try to get to at least 25,000 words by the middle of the month, but that may be hard to do, somehow, I think. I'm still working on the third chapter, but probably will need at least another page or two written to be able to move on to chapter four, if I'm not too mistaken here.

I'm expecting at least 10 to 15 chapters by the end of the story, if not more. Although I don't yet know just how long each chapter will be on average, either in terms of pages or in terms of word counts for each chapter, of course.

The reader will learn more about the main character and certain events in his life prior to coming to the land in which he unexpectedly finds himself, every so often. And more about Cirriddiqua/Slaabovia and its people, et cetera, as well, to be sure.

Fonts in question are Quadrat-Regular for the home jersey, and Quadrat-Serial for the road/away jersey, it seems to me here. Just so you know these things well enough at the present time, at least. CD out.

Some new caps for the Worcester Ruby Legs. They may not actually match what they might have worn in real life, back in the 1880's or thereabouts, but here are still two new caps for them.
