The only tie-breaker that should affect these two is head-to-head. If they didn't play, the crown goes to Frankenthal. Gotta run out for a bit. |

Nico-Nico were chopblocked in a game 5 for a second straight week. Back to back weeks crashing out in the divisional round as the top overall seed. They will remain in silver against their will.
I'm getting deja vu to the times the Patriots couldn't escape silver for the life of them. Please make it stop, for the sake of our lady and savior Nico Yazawa. Last edited by Magus978; 10-13-2019 at 04:34 PM. |

The Redmond Birds will take a break from OL and have been re-branded to a new team. They will try to make a living in the cold & unfriendly Wild West. Thank you all for letting the team have so much fun.

Frankenthal's First
Having heard nothing to the contrary, I'm guessing the Retros took the other silver crown. Congratulations!
Sorry, but I don't have your logo. Will re-post if you provide it. |

The Antique Bulldogs will also leave OL and mosey on down the trail looking for rustlers, bank robbers, claim jumpers, and other characters of ill repute. How much is that reward up to now on Tuco?

The Wrap Up
A Munich biergarten seems appropriate for this season's Oktoberfest themed wrap up.

Reno came back from a 3-0 deficit to beat Jefferson Valley in 7 games. Those were the only OL games in Silver playoffs.
Good luck to Reno in the World Series. |

Team had a successful season, bullpen blew up in the ALCS, which I had been waiting for all year.
Excited to jump into Perfect, can't wait to be a whipping boy for folks!

Steelport (82-80) has swapped 100 Cy Young for the following...
99 Walter Johnson (agreement in principle to buy after playoffs) 100 Christy Mathewson 96 Roger Clemens 98 Charlie Gehringer (playing at 1st base) 99 Luke Appling (got for 10k less than avg 7) 91 Goose Goslin (powerful bat against RHP) 85 Bill Madlock (the LHP-hitting half of my new 1st base platoon of Gehringer/Madlock) I'll still have 105k afterwards, and will be ripping 105 packs (unless I see something I can't pass up for 105k). Steelport will challenge for promotion next week. Take it to the bank. |

Also, I am sure that this is the beginning of a long streak of WS appearances for you, so don't sweat it. Too bad the intervening whale was the one to get the win though.

Unfortunately I’m on holidays so the only way I know we were successful is the SL badge that appeared in the sig file image. And I have to hope that the leftover friends from the last time I was in Gold will be enough to get me shuffled into OL Gold. Anyway, now that we’re in Gold, expect a re-branding. But not the Gold Sox. That name’s cursed.

[QUOTE=Edster007;4547788]You followed close to the way you beat me. This time you dropped the first two before running the table. With exception of the first game you lost in our series (10-4) and your game 6 win (5-1) to clinch the title the other 11 games were all one or two run games.[/QUOTE
On the other hand, in the all OL diamond playoffs, the Chippewa Grey Wolves swept through at 11-0, outscoring, in order, the Boogie Knights, 21-7, the Harlem Hatchets, 29-11, and my own Asylum Keepers in the series, 31-16. That's a ridiculous total of 81-34. Might be time to rename them the Rabid Grey Wolves. Well done! Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 10-14-2019 at 05:57 AM. |
