G307 Playoffs Update
Redmond wins their Division series 3-1 to advance to the Sub-League series. Harbour Town loses their series in 5 games. There will be no more OL games played in Gold this season.
Redmond will advance to Diamond next year! Friends list has been updated, colorized, and reordered for next season. Last edited by Charlatan; 07-28-2019 at 04:05 PM. |

My old eyes can't see teams without the -OL designation.

also, double-check your own settings to make sure "use friend's list" is still the setting, as some teams have seen it change on them in recent seasons... only takes a second, but saves a season's worth of frustration for the next week if it was wrong. edit: verified O'Fallon has all Bronze teams / Waffletown has all Diamond teams and both set to use friend's list Last edited by stl jason; 07-28-2019 at 04:21 PM. |

I have throughly gone through all 3 of my friends lists and prepared a spreadsheet to handle Bronze OL standings based on the Google Doc for the coming week. Ready to go for a new week.
Good luck to those still playing. |

I bought a Bobby Bonds that's been around the OL block. Was playing for Luckenbach and Ewa Beach before he came to me. Sent him right back to the market because I need no-stat cards, but it was neat to see.

Diamond playoff update:
Victoria drops the first two games of the LCS to Ewa Beach before storming back to win the next four and advance to the World Series. Harlem dug themselves into an 0-3 hole to start the LCS, which proved to be too much to overcome as they fell 4 games to 2. Go Vikings! Bring home a PT title for OL! |

Say it isn't so!
The misery continues....as the Mudville Muffins muff it again!
After winning their division by only 2 games, the Mudville Muffins get swept in 3 games to a non OL team. After the game the Mudville skipper was quoted as saying "There's always next year!" Mudville, who is still in search of their first ever championship, has made the playoffs 8 times in their history and have seen unsuccessful playoff action in 6 out of the last 8 years. An interesting side note to the 2036 Iron Championship Series is that both teams were the winner of their respective Wild Card game, one of which is the Redmond Birds-OL. |

Iron League.
The AC divisions were filled with non-OL teams so we knew our OL teams would have to battle with a strong non-OL team for the title. In the end, the Redmond Birds got lucky and won the Iron league title over the non-OL Cleveland Buckeyes. My boys got lucky in their semi-finals match against the Bulldogs. This was one of the better season-long battles between two OL teams. The Antique Bulldogs took the division and pushes the Birds to the wild card, which meant they had to get past two teams before getting lucky with a 4-3 win in the semi-finals. Credit to Kushiel for giving the kids a great battle all season and guiding them to a title with great feedback and advice.

Bronze League:
The AC division had quite a few OL teams but eventually it was the Philadelphia Patriots that pushed all the way to the finals. My own Washington Base Stealers team lost to the Patriots (4-3) in the semi finals. The NC division was an all OL competition with Kushiel pushing two of his teams to division titles. My boys and their Woodinville Talent Thieves managed to squeeze past two great teams (Rockin'Robins and Corinth Cougars) before defeating the Philadelphia Patriots in the finals (4-1) to secure the Bronze league title. Again, credit to Kushiel for another great season-long battle. I was hoping the two of us would get past those lucky Talent Thieves but all our teams got drained off their talent and lost. As reward for the title, the boys traded in their points for three packs and got rewarded with their first diamond card (93 Josh Donaldson). He is a 7-8K diamond card and essentially similar to a player already on the team (Gold Jeter). Thanks to all the teams in Bronze that made this a great fun season.

Silver league:
The NC division sent lots of teams to the playoffs and in the end the Hampton Road Rush OL team went all the way to the finals after defeating the Pablo Pandas (3-2) and CliffMarkle Roadrunners (4-0). The AC division sent a few OL teams to the playoffs but all of them fell victim to the Montreal Expos. They defeated the Chi-Town Towners (3-1), Redmond Crusaders (4-3) and eventually took the Silver league title by beating the Hampton Roads Rush OL team (4-2). Good luck to all the teams moving up (Crusaders, Road Rush, and Roadrunners). My own team (Sad Hill Hunters) lost to the boys and their neighborhood friend in the wild card game. I must be getting old....I lost way too many games to the boys while they managed to secure an Iron, Bronze, and Perfect league title.

Gold league:
Only 3 OL teams made it to the playoffs and with two division winners, I was hoping that we could get lucky and maybe secure a title. I was wrong....The Annondale Atom Smashers, Redmond Defenders and Harbour Town Falcons got pushed aside by good non-OL teams. In the end, the Los Angeles Bighorns won the Gold League title thanks to a roster with 20 Diamond/Perfect players. We will have to do better next season to secure a Gold league title for "Our League". Good luck to all teams next season...help is on the way from Silver league (3 OL teams are moving up).

They have been in Gold for a long time. No tanking. They look like a team build from packs-only. Bellinger/Lindor and 99 Rickey were just a bit much for our teams.
