Diamond league update:

Ewa Beach cruises to their first ever Diamond league OL crown (and second OL crown overall).

overall... and impressive showing by OL teams, filling 8 of the 10 playoff spots. In the AC, all 5 playoff positions are OL teams (three of them 100 game winners). Victoria nabbed home-field advantage throughout the playoffs with their league best 108-54 record. They will await the winner of the wild-card game between Waffletown and Luckenbach. In the other ALDS, Ewa Beach (104 wins) will host the Seattle Pilots (100 wins).

In the NC, Harlem slipped from the top spot in the Central division and will host the wild card game against Transylvania. The Seattle Endless Summer will play their NLDS game against division winner New York.

edit: no OL relegations... minimum 2 teams will be moving up to Perfect

Annandale continues my tradition of losing in the WC, so they are out of the G307 playoffs. Redmond and Harbour Town are both in the midst of their Division series, each team's series is tied 1-1.

Today is the end of an era for the New York Patriots, as they temporarily suspend their OL membership and journey out in search of individual glory. Call it whatever you want, but when the Patriots return they will be in gold and will have finally gotten the failure monkey off their back.

Steelport will be ready to join tonight, as the points they have made will be spent to replace the remaining illegal players.

Stephensville wins the OL Iron Crown for 2036, edging out the rival Mudville Muffins.

Of course, in true Bears/Muffins fashion, both teams lost their division series and will return to Iron next season.

Meanwhile, the Redmond Birds and Antique Bulldogs both advance to meet in their Sub-League series, which will advance them both to Bronze next season.

(I would appreciate if anyone else in Iron would double-check these standings)

Victoria wins a hard fought LDS series against Waffletown 3 games to 2 as the home team took all 5 games. Ewa Beach swept their way past the Seattle Pilots. The Harlem Hatches made quick work of the top NC seed with a 3-1 series victory; and the Seattle Endless Summer saw their summer come to an end with a 3-1 loss.

Victoria, Ewa Beach and Harlem will move on to Perfect league next season

(I'll be out after 3pm cst, so if someone else wants to pick up the playoff updates in Diamond, feel free... otherwise it'll be later tonight before I'm back)
