As long as you fit the OL outline, posted here, you are very welcome to join. Just start "friending" the Our League teams at least at your level and one above or below until you get to 30. The actual number of teams that will fit is very large. Theoretically, there could be multiple OL's at a single level if we had, say, 60 OL teams in iron. We could just separate them into two different friends lists with 30 of the teams mutually friending, while the other 30 did the same. A little complicated, but it'd be a nice problem to have. In short, welcome aboard. I've also attached the most recent friends list. If your team fits, you can get started. I'm sure there will be an updated list later today.

Congrats go out to the Melaka Armada. They went 14-5 yesterday to clinch the OL Crown. Tacoma didn't go down without a fight finishing September 12-4 but it just wasn't enough.

Glad I wasn't awake to see my two teams lock horns in a play in game 163. Although had I been San Pedro may not have started a left hander against the Knights. Boogie were 32-18 vs lefty's this season.

Still need final OL standings for Bronze and Diamond. There needs to be a double check on the P415 standings. The wins and losses don't add up. Unless they the info gets posted in the next hour or so, it could be awhile until they get posted. Thirty-two years ago, on Fathers Day, my first son was born. This is one of the years that his birthday hits on Fathers Day, so I will be baking him a cake soon. Funny, but, he never bakes me one on the off years. By the way, my eldest son was born on my birthday in 1982.



A reminder that playoff games between OL teams should be reported separately from the regular season standings for inclusion in the all time standings. Here's hoping for another OL World Series.

Redmond wins Bronze crown! It's the year of the Defenders!

Redmond grabbed the lead in early May and never let go, leading from then until the end of the season. Congratulations on their first title.

In non-OL news

• Motown and Daytona Beach battled it out all month for the lead in the NC Central. It came down to the last three games of the season, which saw Motown, with a slim one game lead, host Daytona Beach for a three-game series. Motown took the first two games to clinch the division title.
• Redmond nabbed the first AC wild card spot
• Ozark narrowly missed the second one
• Daytona Beach earned the first NC wild card spot, and they'll face
• Little Rock, who won the second NC wild card spot

I just double-checked the P415 standings and got the same results as posted by joehart. The wins and losses he posted add up for me (I don't think you're dumb but it's the second chart he posted, not the first!)

Harvey Haddix had a 25 game win streak for the Harbour Town Falcons finishing his season at 25-1. There was a 7000 PP reward for the 25 game win streak. Not bad at all.

Hey there.

Joining the OL is easy. Your team's roster has to follow the rules in this post:

Basically:

1. Your team must be F2P - you can't have purchased PP for the team ever
2. Your team cannot have LIVE, POTM, or Future Legend cards on it

That's pretty much it.

Post your manager name / team name in the thread when your team is ready - the sooner the better, because it takes people a little bit to see and add new entries.

I was shouting for a win because I know I need just 1 out of 3 in the final 3 matches. If Melaka were to go 1-2, there will be duo champions, which I think is historical and a rare occasion? My boys decided to be a-holes somehow and not share the crown.

In a 1-2 scenario, Melaka's win rate will be 39/63 and Tacoma's 52/84. Both of them are 13/21.

Wow. That is absolutely terrific. What a nice way to get jump started and I bet he got more PP for pitcher awards as well.
In my mind, I already know how I would like to invest those points.

Now it is time to reach the kids and give them some good competition. They both won OL titles and I am sure Mom and I will get to hear about it all Sunday and this week.

It has been a while since I had a Harvey Haddix (PT19 early days).
He was a fantastic bronze card.

It has been a while since I had a Harvey Haddix (PT19 early days).

With those points and what they earned for some other things yesterday, they have 13k. They won 119 games this season in Iron. They led all offensive categories except SB and were 2nd there so I am unsure how I will spend them. I am open to suggestions from you and your young men. They are not great on defense but that is not how I am going with my new teams. I am trying some other stuff out instead of my tried and true. They have Gwynne in CF so that is a problem that I need to address some day.
I have my friends option checked so we will be where belong this time I think.
