Our League Teams in Playoffs

There are no Our League teams destined for relegation. The playoff teams are:

In I171 - Frankenthal and Mudville in the AC, Arkham in the NC.
In B272 - Daytona Beach in the AC, Philadelphia Patriots in the NC
In S278 - Sanguine hosts Annandale in the Wild Card, the winner to face Shasta, so one of these three will definitely be promoted to Gold. Palolo made it from the NC.
In G305 - Luckenbach and Kaneohe in the AC, Ewa Beach in the NC.
In D373 - Battery Point and Green Lake in the AC. I think if Green Lake wins the Wild Card game, they would play Battery Point, which mean one would be promoted. I assume that the teams are seeded each round by best PT season record.

There are four chances for an Our League World Series in PT 2.0. The only Our League World Series came in PT 19, in what turned out to be the final Our League season there. There are screen shots of it somewhere back in this thread.

It's also time for the annual (weekly) reminder for teams to report any playoff W-L between Our League teams for inclusion in the all time records. OOTP is pretty slow in posting the playoff results. Thanks for a successful season, and good luck in the PT playoffs.

Those are good final regular season records but we have some playoff teams that could meet in the WS if the RNG's shine their light upon us..

Good luck in the post season all.... lets see a PT championship somewhere in our group.

for my boys, looking back it was a classic case of "every game counts".... whether it was the 0-7 start to the season, or the 9-20 stretch after the All Star break; it all added up to put them in a situation with no room for error in the final series.... needed a 4 game sweep of Annandale to steal the last wild card spot, but could only manage to take 3 of the 4, and dropped the final game of the season to finish 1 game out.

another year in Silver for Waffletown.

Stanley: I just had a great thought that will result in more work from you (in other words, a great idea for me to have!). Wouldn't it be cool if the crowns you put on the team logos were colorized to reflect the league level? So Arkham's crown would be an iron crown, Palolo's would be silver, and so forth. That way teams could show off all their crowns and/or we could have a league-wide picture showing past winners and it would be easy to distinguish who won at each level.

Just spitballin' here!

any win/loss stats from Diamond? I've updated the online sheet with this seasons records for Iron through Gold (assuming everything posted is the final numbers, not including post season matchups).

-Annandale holds onto the all-time league wins with 174

-Frankenthal makes the most of their first year to secure the highest overall winning percentage with .644

I just sent the Diamond stats to Mark, so they'll probably be up sometime today.

Do you mean something like this? If these work for you, I'll post them separately. I had actually been thinking of changing the colors to better reflect the levels. Hopefully, they are easy to distinguish. Suggestions on that are welcome.

The Sanguine Classics moved past the Shasta Black Bears in the Division Series 3 games to 1 in a hard fought playoff meeting between two Our league Teams. The Classics will now attempt to eliminate the Waxsaw Wayvern in the AC League Championship series with a trip to the World Series at stake.

Sanguine manager, Sonchell, stated after the game that he was very proud of his team although he does not relish a promotion to the Gold Level next series. Sonchell said that all his team can do is to play to the best of their ability now and keep their mind on the series at hand.

The Luckenbach Armadillos were swept from the Division series and will be in Gold once again, thankfully. We need no great luck in the playoffs for many more seasons.

Any Our League Playoff W-L?

I have S278, since my teams are there. From reading through, I'm guessing that Green Lake lost the wild card game, so did not play Battery Point. Also, it doesn't seem there were any OL match ups in G305. We need updates for I171 and B272. As far as I can tell so far, only Sanguine will be changing levels. Will post list with next year's levels as soon as I'm sure. Thanks.
