Best Pack

So far this has been my best pack pull to date. Sutton is my second diamond but the other pack didn’t have a silver and gold in it as well.
Would love to see some other great pulls.

My best pull to date was the All-Star Zobrist (93?) plus a Thome (76) in the same pack. Not stellar, but solid players. Yeah, I haven't been too lucky to date...

I got 90 Strasburg, 93 Lincecum, 85 Wheeler in one pack, I was really shocked. But My best pack has to be the pack that include 100 54's Willie Mays，He's just too good.

Are the odds listed beneath the packs odds per card, or odds per pack?

Like for a 1000 pp pack are we talking you get a gold one in 50 packs or each card has a 1 in 50 chance? I'm guessing it's per pack, but my hit rate in beta felt like per card.

Offensively he is a MACHINE - on pace for 40 HRs and 55 stolen bases - a great trade off for his defensively liability.

It was one of the first cards I pulled from a pack - I want to say I got him with the starter packs.

Wow, i'm really surprised by his HR power. He only hit 101 in his career but in the early 1900's that might of been a lot.

That is why I am not falling for all these posts with these great pulls. Nobody says how many packs it took before they got that great pull.

I would rather use my points targeting areas of need in the auction house.

No question that the AH is a more efficient use of points. But I just can´t resist the packs.

That is the great thing about this game, everybody has their own way of playing. I haven't bought anything in the AH, I use all my PP for packs. Last night I opened 19 packs and got 3 golds. Two of them were in one pack. The Record Breaker Righetti i'll keep but the Keuchel and I forget the other one will soon go to the AH so I can flip them for more packs. I sell back all the 2018 Live cards and only play/collect the parallel cards.

I'll keep track of my pack openings (always wanted to do this) and keep a running log starting tonight.

BTW, the night I hit the perfect I opened 5 or 6 packs that night. I was totally blown away when that showed up.

The auction house is for efficient upgrades. Like I wanted a boost at C, so I bought myself a Grandal last night for like 1300 points. Obviously way more value there than buying a card pack, since I wanted that.

But the problem with the auction house is you don't have that chance for a big draw. If I just play the auction house, I'm never going to end up with a perfect card on my team, or one of the really rare players (like, I just saw the Vlad Jr future star went for like 120k PP a couple days ago). But if I buy packs, there's a chance. Maybe you get nothing, but maybe you get someone who fits.

And sometimes, the players from packs give you something you didn't even really know you needed, and it's just such a satisfying feeling to grab that.
