Furthest you have ever simulated into the future?

Starting using a current day league (whatever year it was during whatever OOTP version you were playing), what is the furthest you've ever simulated into the future? Has anyone made it to something crazy like 2300? Always like to know other peoples experiences with the game.

Just started 2069 season, but in a previous lifen I remember being a 130 year old GM. Just don't remember the year. I was born in 1970, so maybe 2100?

Starting in 1900, I have a fictional league that is now in 1945, but I've been dragging it from version to version. I think I started it in OOTP 17. I have another fictional in the 20's iirc and I play probably 10 seasons of modern day every version.

Currently in the 2025 season, expanded league in 2020, added rookie level teams for Montreal and Portland in 2018, added class A level teams in 2019, added MLB and AAA teams in 2020, took Portland expansion team, won World Series in 2024, hoping to repeat in 2025

I usually make it about 30 years in the future. Tends to be when I burn out because all the players I drafted have retired.

Typically I find a player in the draft that I keep on my team for about 18+ years. Once the player retires, I then wait long enough for the hall of fame induction.

I took over a team in year 2019 and am just starting the 2201 season.

I GMed the San Jose Athletics until the end of the 2150 season. I got bored with them after 9 straight divisional pennants and 7 Finley Cups. Total of 88 Divisions and 52 Finley Cups.

Second team was the Philadelphia Rowdies and had a great run with them (through the 2183 season) until they changed owners. I could not take the meddling penny-pinching @#$% new owner, so I resigned. Total of 14 Divisions and 9 Finley Cups.

I took on the worst team (both worst farm system and parent club) in 2184 (Charolette Generals) and have been GMing them since. Total of 5 Divisions and 2 Finley Cups.

Lots of fun and history in this fictional league.

Started with 2 - 11 team divisions and kept expanding (every 15 years) till I capped out at 2 - 20 team divisions. Only divisional winner goes to Finley Cup.

How many versions ago did you start this ???? In mine I started in 2012 or OOTP 13 I think might be OOTP12 when I figured out how to move game forward

i think the longest i've actively controlled a team in a league is 118 years. may get a few more out of '18. i've gone further with a hands-off approach in past. i only set the GM/coach and strategies and let it run.

i've simmed out multiple hundreds of years in order to mine some static LTM/baseline averages of league including turnover effect. 2300-some? maybe 2500some at most. but, i didn't control anything.

Great question I do not know the version I started this league with but I was the MAN&GM for the first 94 years. I sim day to day and check box scores after each game. I can do a season in about a week if I am in the mood.
