While we did improve the 3D in the game, we did not make that kind of a leap forward

But in a few years, who knows! Tell all your friends about OOTP, the more revenue we generate the more we can invest in improving the game

One more question, if we pre-order to get the 20% discount then we won't get a Steam key or do we just have to wait until it launches on Steam to buy it?

EDIT: So we won't be able to enter the "get put into the game" contest if we want it on Steam?

The 20% discount is for the eSellerate version. No free Steam key for eSellerate pre-orders this year I am afraid. If you want to buy the Steam version then you'll have to wait for the official release on March 24, where it will launch with a 10% discount.

Best thing to do might be to just add it as a non-steam game to your library so you can load it from there

Would we get some extra free agents from different nations playing the WBC? If not we would have to manually create ~30 players from China, Colombia, Israel etc to create a custom tournament.

Other teams would be easily filled as they have their leagues already in the game.

And how are the finances of the promoted/demoted team handled? What about the finances for the league as a whole—the change in team membership would surely affect that.

These, it seems to me, are hugely important considerations.

If there's not enough players to fill the teams, then they'll get filled with "ghost" players for the duration of the tournament.

Not everyone will agree to play in the tournament, either (depending on your options), so you might even need ghost players for a team like Canada (as evident in the real one, where they're bringing guys like Orr, Gagne, and Dempster out of retirement to play for them).
