Bullpen Management
One thing I've noticed that is different about OOTP17 from previous versions is that pitcher fatigue is different. Specifically RP recovery from fatigue is much slower.
Some times my pitchers are taking three or four days to recover from a 20-25 pitch outing. This is making bullpen management almost impossible, as I rarely have any rested relievers (even with a seven man bullpen). It's becoming a necessity for my SP to pitch 7 or 8 innings just to survive on a weekly basis (especially during weeks when my team has no days off). I'm curious if others have noticed this, and if this is an intentionally new feature or a byproduct of something else. |

This was a problem during beta. But it was fixed just prior to the official release on Tuesday. You're running version 17.3.33, correct?

Do you have a pitcher with higher stamina (50ish) set to med/long relief? If you have one bad game where your starter only goes 3IP and you don't have a long relief I find the AI will go thou most of your bullpin in 1 to 2 IP per player and tire them out. Long overtime games can do this too.

I've noticed the same issues with my Beta version. So once I update this should go away? I'm managing the Tulsa Drillers in my 2017 season, and Farhan Zaidi really doesn't want me to have more than 12 pitchers (despite giving me 17 hitters). I end up pitching a lot of lesser fatigued pitchers.

Yes, the issue is resolved as far as I know.

After updating the BETA the problem is gone for me. Now relievers recover much quicker, even quicker than previous versions of the game. Now if one of my relievers has thrown a low number of pitches in a game, sometimes the next day he is 100% rested instead of 85% rested. Also relievers used 2 days in a row are listed as slightly tired instead of exhaustred. I like it.
