NPBL with two openings
Traditional baseball in the modern era: the National Pastime Baseball League.
In a world where the National Pastime is king, baseball enjoys the benefits of modern sports, without the disadvantages. Most players stay with their teams (they all get paid in full); divisional opponents play each other more often; there is no major-league DH; lavish stadiums draw millions of fans. ‘Baseball strategy’ means everything. This is the world of the NPBL. Fictional players, no finances, no DH, no interleague; twenty-four state teams in six divisions. The NPBL has the details: correct city weather, staggered schedules, and more. We’re finishing our fourth season. The California Kings and Tennessee Express need owners. To join, contact me at: jberry @ mm.st Jesse Berry |

for Bobby Teamola
The ball club took the field, ready for a game,
When ’round the corner came a passenger train. Its engineer was grim, his hand strong, his flannel pressed: it was the new owner of the Tennessee Express. The California Kings are set to play at home. They need an able manager to sit upon their throne; To run their draft, to find their path, to raise them from the ground, And add another trophy to their two division crowns. If you played an online league and you had a rough time, From its one-year career or Commissioner of Crime, Try a mellow, steady league (the old pros know it well), Baseball’s the game that we love in the grand NPBL. |

When I was recently looking for a high quality league to join, the NPBL was the league I ended up choosing. It met a number of things I was looking for in a league and after talking with Satchel via email a number of times, I couldn't pass up the opportunity. Check it out. Satchel has a real love for this league and with the owner base it has, this league is very low risk high reward.

I hate the league (only cuz I can't win).
Please take the time to check out the league website if you have any doubts. We are late in the season, and many divisions are still up for grabs. Heck, I'm only 6 games out of a playoff spot...pretty darn amazing. Lots of good even competition. All the teams are very equal in talent.
