Ugh. Aaron and Neal Broten both named Aaron and Neal The Flying Scotsman. Hakan Loob named Hakan Pie. It's getting kind of annoying, and for some reason whenever I edit their names, their potential drops by .5 stars.

Just encountered this bug. After regular season WHA 1976-77, only the top two teams went to playoffs, ie. straight to finals. There were no other playoff games.

I've not noticed this (potential), but haven't looked for it. When I go to next year, I'll try to see what happens with potentials of the handful of guys whose names I have to change. Usually 5-10 a year.

Take a look at the 3rd period Satterlee gets a game misconduct for an illegal check to the head a few minutes into it Green Bay gets called on a penalty and it goes to 4-4 Green Bay's penalty finishes before the 5 minute major and thus Nashville should NOT have been charged a power play attempt.

Yep. I only play singleplayer. This bug seems to happen in KHL and LIIGA more often than NHL.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Had this problem for a bit:

FHM 2, Windows 10 x64, Steam auto-updates enabled. When I start the game the FHM application opens, but the game window never opens up. The logo appears in the taskbar, but the window never appears. If I bring focus to it with the keyboard, it appears in the top left of the screen "totally small" (just a chunk of the title bar, like the UI isn't initalizing at all). I can't resize it.

Uninstalling and re-installing doesn't solve the issue. I moved the FHM 2 user directory and that doesn't solve the issue.

I tried to look through the thread to see if this was reported. Didn't see it but sorry if I missed it.

Try deleting the settings.dat file.

I want to add to the strange behavior with quickstarts for fictional leagues in Germany:
Quite of few of my team names got corrupted and replaced by the fake names from the standard game. It's not just "Lausitzer Hunde" showing up, but Schneemänner Berlin and a few more.

And because this sounded all too familiar, I did some digging:

I pointed out this very same issue in February 2013 and it has not been fixed... link to my post. Nothing else to add

It appears that the boxscore report of number of shifts played by various players is out of whack when a game goes to a shootout. I first noticed this today, but then looked back at earlier games with shootouts and saw it happening in those as well. Somehow, some players for one team involved in a shootout are credited with an unrealistically large number of shifts played (in some cases as many as 99). See the example below. So far, I have noticed this only in games with a shootout.

I wanted to switch to window mode on fhm 2, and when i restarted the game, this is what opened.

It won't close either. I've tried restarting my computer and even deleting the game from steam. Please help. I'm using windows 10. Thanks

I noticed that in the 1979-80 playoffs the teams were not re-seeded for the second round. It went like this:
#1 vs #15
#3 vs #10
#4 vs #6
#9 vs #12

But shouldn't it have gone like this?
#1 vs #15
#3 vs #12
#4 vs #10
#6 vs #9

just rename or delete the fake.inc file in the database folder before starting the game and you have the actual DEL names in game

I don't want the real DEL names in my quickstart game, I just want to have my fictional team names instead of the fake German team names in my quickstart games ;-)

I found this bug last night

I had been playing the season starting in 1979. I took control of the Hartford Whalers...I renamed them to a custom name using the editor. I dispersed the players to other teams, and created my own to play on my team. All went well through the season, until I hit Jun 26th 1980. It started crashing on that date....I did several troubleshooting ideas to see what element of my scenario may be causing the problem...after many saves, I tried resigning from the team as general manager...That worked, and I was able to play past Jun 26th...Next, after I played until July 1st, that was good....Next I took control of the team again, which had reverted back to the Hartford Whalers, and had no players on the roster....I reset the team back to my custom name, my logo reappeared, but the roster was still empty....after digging deeper, I found my custom players were all retired...I attempted to edit one of the players to put him back on the team but the game crashed as soon as I hit the edit button...cant go any further now, and all my players are stuck as retired....I want to really enjoy the game,...thanks for your time and thoughts

Hi, I have a career mode with the Sudbury Wolves and in my 3rd year the game crashes every time on August 31st. How can this be fixed?
