Funny Morale pic/question
My team is dreadful (32-70) and facing a potentially LONG rebuild. The guys who are VERY LOW for desire to win are mostly happy as clams and the rest, not so much.
Would it be smart to seek more VERY LOW for winning guys in the next couple years? When I have 25 guys who are fat, dumb and happy, they will play closer to their potential and, through no fault of their own, be more likely to win. Can it work that way?

So, the answer is a definite "maybe". One of the nice things about the personality system, or not so nice depending on how you like to play, is that it definitely inserts a certain fog of war.
I certainly do believe that players who aren't obsessed with winning are likely to be more consistent on your team than the players who are flustered by the losses. However, as the question of whether it will result in things turning around for you, it's hard to say. I would suggest that you keep trying to acquire talent, and don't stress so much about that personality trait unless you're talking about expensive players who are likely to be up for contract renewal before you are contending. You need talent first and foremost. But when it comes to bench or dime a dozen players, it wouldn't hurt to grab some easygoing leader types. Just my two cents though.

I don't think you want to acquire players only on one trait (desire for wins). I think even if you know you are rebuilding, try not sucking completely, and your players' morale won't suffer as bad, even for the high desire for win players.
