Yes, he's on the MLB DL, but he doesn't show up and can't be moved to the 40-man. Check out the last screenshot I put at the bottom. It says he has a minor league contract but "Major League Contract" is checked below that. Maybe that's it?

Still think you have the playoff roster rules wrong.

Last year MLB changed it to if the player was in the ORGANIZATION by August 31, then they are eligible to be on the playoff roster.

I might be wrong here, but September call-ups should be eligible.

Of course they have to be on the 40-man.

That would be more for the bug report thread than this thread

Anyone have a quick start with actual opening day rosters and depth charts set?

Okay, I'll keep waiting. I guess I'm just anxious to start off on my league without having to be concerned about a new patch coming along with a roster update that will only take effect when starting a new league, then losing all my customization and maybe progress.

How many more roster patches that require a new start to do you think we'll have going forward? I assume since we got one with the MLB Opening Day rosters, we'll have the one with the MiLB rosters as of their opening days, and then maybe one more to correct errors in there.

Does that sound right or am I way off?

Problem with this is that he is not on the 40-man in real life. So if you have to send him down you are burning an option that you shouldn't need to. There are other situations of guys not on 40-man rosters that you can't send down without having to DFA them, and potentially lose them.

Downloaded the new patch. Austin Adams is retired in the game when he should be on the Indians 25 man roster.

Bryant isn't on the 40 man in the editor either (don't have my game open but that should mean he isn't in the game either).

Lukas can go into more detail on why correct 40 man rosters aren't put together.

Yankee Bullpen

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but I just downloaded the latest opening day roster for mac and Jared Burton was in the bullpen. Chasen Shreeve was actually the last man to be named to the Yankees pen, and he isn't even on the 40-man on OOTP.

I'm guessing it was just the AI that put Burton in the bullpen. Would that be correct?

You would be.. Although I just found out Burton starts the season on the AAA DL so in the next patch/update he won't be on either roster.

Honestly yesterday and today I have been setting all the milb OD rosters. Once I am done and they are locked into our DB. I will then begin the process of making sure the players land at the correct levels in game. Which will take me a few days... probably through the weekend. So by the time there is an actual update/patch they will be done. But as I mentioned, we may release it as a QS beforehand.

What you guys will also notice is several of the players that the AI ends up putting on MLB rosters in game, I have found out in doing the milb rosters that some of these guys end up on the milb OD DLs. So that means there's a chance the correct guys can end up on rosters. Its not a ton of guys but it annoying one's like Furcal, Burton, Buss, etc.

Oh and by the way, I am now accepting payment in the form of fruit flavored sparkling water ... MY GOD THIS STUFF IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok back to work on the Bowie BaySox..... I'll give you guys a few updates over the next few days to let you know how it goes....

Any chance you guys take a look at Danny Valencia with the Jays.

In game, he's rated aALMOST identical vs lefites and righties, but in real life, he hits like 100 points higher against lefties. He's a platoon bat who is seen as a much better hitter againsts lefties.

there are the in game ratings, just figured it's worth a look.

Hey, you replied to the right dude! I've been drinking that stuff non-stop since I was about 8 years old. I've two six packs here at work with me even! I'll send one over!

In all seriousness thanks for all the work you do. Even if that comes out as a QS that will be great. I'll snap it up right away!
