Some questions from a new player

Hey,

first of all, I want to say that I like to play this hockey manager and I am looking forward to the new versions.

During playing my first season, I have some (maybe noob) question, that I want to ask.

- What is the "Commissioner Mode"?

- After finishing my first Season, suddenly I was unemployed. But why? I loaded a previous save game and I was not able to find an information about my contract or something. What happened?

- When I saved my game after beeing unemployed, I loaded it again. The Player abilities from every team changed. after the season nearly all players of my Team raised in their ability. When I load the game now, they are all on their old skills. Why?

- How does the "potential" work? I thought that it would be the ability a player could reach at maximum. After the season, the "potential" raised. What exactly is the function of "potential" and "ability"?

That happens players getting better as seasons go by older player ratings do drop but I've noticed that one game load milan lucic was a 8.0 then next game he was a 8.5 weird huh... And you can click do not get fired when you start a game I now do that because after leading my bruins to 2nd place and round 3 in playoffs I was fired fhm team will fix this soon I'm sure hope that answers your question sorry for type errors I'm at work on my iphone

Thank you very much for your answer. In my case the ratings didn´t change during the season, but only at the end of the season after the Stanley Cup finals.

After I got fired, I loaded the save game again and played in a "commissioner mode". Somehow I was able to put myself back as the GM of my team. Unfortunately the ratings didn´t go up as high as they were when I saved the game.

Hmmm if you have some time what players did the ratings go down on?? And what were they I'll check mine to see if there the same... Also ratings won't change durning the season only after the game loads the next year right before July 1st free agents makes it more believe able example inglia was a 8.0 at 36 by 38 after the season load he was a 7.5 by the time he was 43 he was at I believe either a 6.0 or 6.5

When do players progress? In my first year in the OHL my whole team progressed. After the second year no one progressed. Playing my third season now.

I been playing since the first day the beta was released I've only seen players progress at the end of the year when it sims to the next season not every players ratings will change I've noticed if they get older they drop as for a young player if they had a good season they go up seeing how your playing in the OHL I would only guess they would go up a lot faster but I'm not to sure
