Use build 1.5.20.
The bug of being auto-fired at the end of the season is fixed.
You SHOULD always use the newest build and start a new game to make sure you DO NOT run not into already fixed issues!

I think it's in terrible taste to be charging money for this game. FHM is still very much in beta. There are critical bugs in almost every aspect of the game, even after multiple patches. $40 for an unplayable game? Really? I wouldn't play it in its current state if it was free. Won't be purchasing anything from OOTP again if is this how their developers operate. Shameful.

Indeed. That's why you should always try to torrent games like this before purchasing it.

And that is why all these great games from small publishers disappear, because of crap attitudes like this. Probably the main reason EHM no longer exists, now we finally have the chance to get an excellent hockey sim again, and this is peoples opinions, to just steal the game? Wow

I just downloaded the game and bought the license and it will not even work.... It is horrible first it was giving me a blank screen and then it gets to 36% loaded and decided to auto quit. Worst 46 dollars I have ever spent on something.....

So some of you are still playing this game?

I'm having too much fun with OOTP14 to worry about my FHM donation.

This game is still very raw, I'll play it when it's fully functional. Until then I hope they don't give up patching it. One day they will get it together. Too bad Markus don't understand/care about hockey. He would be an asset to the development team.

He watched a Maple Leaf game and that turned him against the sport.

I'm glad I read this thread, was about to buy the game thinking it would be great to have a new better version of EMH2007.....apparently not!

Perhaps, but none of the complaints were disputed or addressed....I want a complete game for $40.....not a beta.
All this talk of starting all over each time a patch comes out is a deal breaker for me.
If I'm wrong, tell me.

I'm glad that you read the thread as well. FHM is not EHM 2014 and never will be so it might be better for you to keep playing EHM 2007.

FHM never had to be EHM, it just needed to be a full game, not beta. But you just admitted it never will. Okay. Just seems like $40 is a lot for permanent beta whereas the ootp baseball is great. Oh well.

We've had 6 months of beta testing, then the game was released in early September ... and now, 4 months later the game still is not close to where it should be.

So if your customers are frustrated - you should at least try to understand it, we have every right to be disappointed.

As I said, the game is not close to where it should be - just a small example: Online play was promised for early October - I think it's save to assume it won't be in FHM14 at all.

I never spoke about stealing a game. But when you charge 40 ****ing bucks for a BETA, a BETA which isn't a complete game, then I personally would try it out before spending money on a half-arsed game. You don't pay for a demo either, do you? Bugs/issues addressed many months ago, still hasnt been fixed etc etc. Give me ONE good reason why I should spend 40 bucks on a BETA?

And the game is still ****fulled with bugs and issues, so this game is a waste of money, no matter how cheap/expensive it is.
