How can I change the default league directory to Dropbox so that I can play the same league in 2 computers?

I am almost positive that you cannot play a Mac and PC league as the files would greatly differ from each other as both systems use much different language unless I am wrong.

as far as the dropbox thing, I have no idea

Yes, Mac/PC leagues are compatible. Just need your league folder.

Know nothing about Dropbox, sorry.

You can set the custom data path in the "Expert Settings" tab in Game Preferences. I don't know if that affects already established universes or not.

Also, I don't know if you can set that on a per-universe basis, or if it's global.

Lastly, as your league grows, you might find yourself running out of space on Dropbox, unless you want to start paying for extra storage. An external hard drive might wind up being better in the long run.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

I regularly play on my Mac. I proceeded to change the path in the Expert settings on both machines to Dropbox. Now, when I load the game on the PC, it lets me continue the saved game, but when it loads, I have no team and no previous history. It's like I just created a new game. Perhaps some files aren't compatible?
