Achievements not working
There are achievements I know I have reached however I did not get the achievement.
Here are examples I know of: I pitched a one hit shutout but I did not get the Putting Up Zeros achievement. I lost a game 13-6 but did not get the "Crossing the Plate" achievement for 6+ runs in one game. A few things to note... first I do not do play by play. I just sim the whole game all at once. Secondly, this is a league I transferred from the previous version of iOOTP using your instructions, however these games were played in iOOTP 2013. Some achievements do work right. For example I got the "Double Dinger" achievement in the playoffs and I got the "Winning A Pennant" achievement. |

I don't think so, DKelley. I got the zeros achievement when I simulated the whole game.

What is the point of adding an achievement system if you don't get them unless you PbP? |

The whole achievement thing is silly. I'd rather see the programming space put to stats such as enhanced leaderboards or filters. One thing I did learn, unless it's a bug, is that my closer is worse than I thought. No strike out the sides in 2 years! |

Purpose of schievements
Is there a purpose to these notices, other than letting us know that a certain accomplishment had not been met before? Do we get a prize, maybe a corked bat?
![]() Perhaps in the future we could get notices when a player sets a team record, if those stats are kept and the coding isn't lengthy. I'm impressed with how much data is kept (but not accessible). If the developers made a separate app that gave us good record-keeping, count me in. |
