I'll do the next two players here in a few hours, and then I'll get started up until the draft.
I'll likely get through the first season tonight. What will happen, is everyone will be drafted, and everyone will sign for their signing bonus demand (just makes it easier). Then I'll sim a season at a time when I do sim, with updates going on while I do the sim. So whenever you check back to this thread, you can see what happened to your player. You will have some decisions to make for your players though, but most of them won't happen until free agency. You get to pick which offer you take from various teams (I'll PM you when it's that time) and give you the information to decide. You'll also get to choose when to retire, and if you want to keep your player going. Maybe at some point, you can choose to retire, and create a new player (we'll see how popular this is and if everyone stays active). So if each of you could do me the favor of subscribing to this thread, that way you remember to check it. So expect within about 24 hours me to have an update on where you were drafted, and how much you signed for. Anyone else that wants to get involved, submit your player information quickly, because time is running out. |

Man, this sounds awesome. It's nice that the users will have some control over their players.
Also, I don't think it would be that great of an idea to sim a season at a time, as it gets less specific about the season and more broad. Maybe month-by-month sims and reports would do. Last edited by dynaboyj; 11-26-2012 at 10:05 PM. |

It's a new idea for this, so if people have suggestions like that, I'm down. I'll do month-by-month then starting from the draft. Also, my brother-in-law will be joining as well, but he doesn't post on here, so I'll just share his profile for everyone so everyone can see. I hope that's okay with everyone ![]() Maybe he'll join. |

Rolled a '2' Unreal, we have consistently had only one dice roll away from the chosen dice every time. Anyway, you have 40's on everything injury related. |

Getting started We have 9 players for the first season 3 pitchers (all starters), 3 infielders (2 SS), and 3 outfielders 6 high school players, 3 college players (1 college hitter, 1 high school pitcher) 2012 MLB Draft I edited the draft order for the first round to reflect the correct first 30 picks, but after that the second round and further simply goes in reverse MLB standings order from 2011 since it's hard to edit those draft picks in orders. |

I checked at the Burlington Royals have a pitcher born one day before 'I' was. He didn't have a good year I'm afraid. His name is Lincoln Rassi. Lincoln Rassi Stats, Bio, Photos, Highlights | Burlington Royals Stats
A funny thing, since I am actually much too old to have a major league career, the birth date you gave him had him born on my 22nd birthday. He is now 22, and wearing #22, which I picked because I was born on the 22nd. ![]() Destined to play in the bigs for 22 years and have, lets say 2, 22 win seasons! |

Will O'Brien is the only one not on his teams top 20 prospects. I would have thought Lebron James, being the latest draft pick, but he has performed the best very easily. I'd say all look like they will make the big leagues at some point. But of course, it depends. Some teams spend more on development than others, some teams will be more aggressive, some players will simply get worse. Currently, nobody is blocked. All 3 pitchers look like they could be in their teams rotations by 2015. Each position player either has their full time position open ahead of them, or their secondary position open ahead of them. Since you didn't pick a birthday, I have picked one for you. And since you didn't pick a dice. I am picking the number '4' for you. and I rolled a '6', so your injury ratings will be all 80's |
