moving universe from OOTPX to OOTP13

my league is very particular.

we have created a universe that includes the following:
1. historical duped data. we found a good platform season for hitting, fielding and pitching and duped every year to this. the rationale is to never have any sort of outlier eras. if a player hits 40 homers in 1825, it is the same as a player hitting 40 homers in 2025. these files in OOTPX are era_fielding.txt, era_modifiers.txt and era_stats.txt

2. we also do not use inflation, so the financial.txt is also 'duped'.

3. a completely unique first name database (first_names.txt), and a slightly modified last name database (names.txt)

4. a nations.txt file that includes our fictitious island (and subsequent slight modification of the cities.txt file) as well as the extremely important modification to all nations making them equal in baseball talent. we use a 'foreign player' percentage of 99% as well, so we are just as likely to get a shortstop from budapest as we are from dallas.

5. a very edited injury.txt file (we find it more humorous when a guy is out for three weeks due to 'butterfly attack' instead of 'pulled bicep')

the reason for my post is this:
i am not familiar with this .xml stuff. what is required for our league to properly port over our desired parameters? in looking in the 'database' folder for OOTP13, i can see that the only .xml file is world_default.xml. the fielding, stats and modifiers files are all still in .txt format, as are the financial, injuries and names.

one possibly alarming thing is total_modifiers.txt and total_modifiers_nuetralized.txt. there are no headers on them, so i cannot tell what they are. i can see that they change every year, which - as i have pointed out - is a sin for our league.

can i simply move over our edited files to OOTP13 and expect them to work? does the world_default.xml change to fit these files, or do the files adjust the .xml in any way automatically? i'm sure this sounds silly, but i am ignorant (and fearful) of this .xml thingy.

any help here would be appreciated guys.

update:
i have noticed that there are many more categories on the stats.txt and fielding.txt files, so i will have to make modifications to them accordingly. interestingly, the era_modifiers.txt was the same structurally. i will compare all of the other .txt files now. the question still remains: can i just slide our modified files into OOTP13 (assuming the categories match up) without any hassle?
