Single Game Simulation/Scrimmage

Question for everyone. I'm a long time OOTP v1 vet that's played roughly every other version through ~9. One feature I always wanted was the ability to scrimmage any 2 historical teams in a 1 game playoff (or even 3, 5, or 7 games) without it being part of a full season simulation.

Can that be done yet? If not, is there any game that lets you do that?

I've wanted that too. But unless it's been done for ver13 and we don't know about it, no.

Well, with the simulation module included with version 12... You could in theory import historical teams into a 'test universe' and use that feature to run your single game/series simulations. You'd never need to actually play out the season either. That's my suggestion.

Is the simulation module a mod or part of the core game? If its not too time consuming each time, sounds like that might be worth a try.

Yes, it shipped with OOTP 12
In my experience it's not too time consuming and for what you want to use it for it would take seconds per simulation.

Where do I find simulation mode? I downloaded the demo to check it out before I buy. I can't find it at the moment.
