#2 Overall Pick traded at the 11th pick.
So in the first round Texas get the 2nd pick. With that they pick Lance Berkman, Round 11 comes and its a human team. After the pick they traded Texas for Lance Berkman, here is the trade (one for one).
Robert Perez 29 Years Old 1 Star Avg Contact (4) Fair Power (3) Fair Eye (3) "If you've got Robert Perez in your starting lineup, then you have real problems..." for Lance Berkman 22 Years Old 5 Star Good Contact (3) Brilliant Power (2) Brilliant Eye (3) "Lance Berkman is a HUGE prospect. Write is down..." |

There is nothing wrong with the trade AI. Move along people, nothing to see here...

Hmm... the trade AI in the next patch (out soon) is refined, and prospects are valued higher.
This is a trade that should not have happened, unless the AI tried to imitate Cam Bonifay.

Markus says a new patch is coming, thats what I needed to get me pumped up for summer games - leading to the inevitiable question - do I need to start a new career after the fix? LOL

In general your current league will work with the new patch... you may have to start a new game to get use of some of the new features.

cleary, it is without a doubt that Perez' eya hand cordinatin is much better than Berkman's.
I wouldn't be surprised if Perez has at least a 27 game hit streak sometime in his career. |
